Delivery and Returns

Delivery:

All orders will require a signature upon delivery, therefore it is your responsibility to ensure someone is available for delivery during your allocated time frame. If no one is available to sign for your delivery and there is a failed delivery, a surcharge will occur. This includes an additional charge for further delivery attempts and storage of your purchased item. Please provide us with landline and mobile numbers at checkout so that we are able to contact you in the event of there being an issue with your order. Failure to do so may result in the delay of your order.

Please ensure that your order and all details are correct before you place your order to prevent any delay with your order. We process and aim to despatch orders very quickly  therefore we are not always able to amend orders once you have placed them.

The delivery times given are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen circumstances. Bargain Shop Equipment shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. Therefore please allow extra time for your order to be delivered in the rare occasion that a delay occurs. Delivery costs of some items to islands, highlands and remote areas are subject to quotation and may take longer. 

For large, heavy items please ensure there is someone available to help with the delivery and that there is clear access for your item to be delivered. Facilities must be provided for off-loading delivery vehicles and this is the responsibility of the customer. Delivery of goods is to kerbside only. 

Unpacking, positioning and assembling of products is not included unless specified but may be available on some products. Please refer to the individual product page to find out whether this service available for the item you are ordering, as well as the charge for this service.

Customers are responsible for checking that products ordered will fit through access points into their premises. Any charges which occur due to a failed delivery will be passed onto the customer. The purchased product will belong to you at this stage as return of products is not an option.

The delivery driver is not a direct employee of Bargain Shop Equipment as we use various freight companies. The delivery driver is only insured to get delivery to your site for kerbside and is not authorised or insured to help you unload vehicles, therefore it is your responsibility. Should you not have a forklift then you must provide the necessary help for the driver to be able to unload your delivery. With slatwalls, the products will be secured with metal strapping so a strong wire cutting tool is required. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, stock may occasionally be unavailable due to high volume sales and demand. If such situations arise, we will offer you a suitable substitute item as an alternative or the option of cancelling your order.

Returns

Due to our products being commercial items intended for business use, sales are business to business therefore we do not accept returns unless an item is faulty. Returns are not accepted if items are ordered by mistake and customers should check specifications and suitability before ordering. It is the customers responsibility to check beforehand that products ordered will fit through access points into their premises. 

Please inspect the packaging of your order upon delivery and check to see that there are no visible signs of damage on the packaging. In the event that there is, please accept and sign for the item(s), and make a note on the Delivery Note that the package was damaged. You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery and report the problem to us in order for us to take any action. If after accepting your delivery you notice a fault or any damaged, missing or incorrect items in your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery and report the problem to us in order for us to take any action. Faulty goods can only be returned after prior authorisation has been obtained from us. Returns of faulty items sent to us without prior approval from us will not be processed. 

In many cases, we are able to arrange collection and replacement of faulty goods once the fault has been verified. When the buyer is returning the faulty goods, it is their responsibility to ensure that the returned goods are securely packed with all manuals included and necessary proof of postage has been obtained to ensure your return reaches us safely and securely in order for us to process your refund.

You can generally expect to see the refund applied to your account within 7-10 business days of the date we processed the refund. If you used your PayPal balance or bank account to fund the original payment, the refunded money will go back to your PayPal account balance.
